Visualization Workshop

Using pictures, stories and physical manipulations, participants will discover together the inter-dependancy of classifiers, use of space and visualization skills.

The instructor will demonstrate, using participants as place holders and shapes. The participants will then take turns as the "shapers." The instructor will lead a discussion on classifiers and locatives and demonstrate with the an image, then invite participants to do the same.

Participants will be able to take an image and use other participants to recreate the spatial relationships and shapes in the image. After discussions of the various classifiers and locatives that can be used, each will recreate an image using classifiers and locatives.
